Quite often brides call somewhat dejected that they’ve found their perfect dress at a vi
ntage shop or sample sale but it’s too small in key areas. “Can you make it bigger?” they ask. Most of the time it’s a resounding “yes”. But, it is a complicated and lengthy process which often will ultimately create a slightly different look.
Of course everything begins with an initial consultation. This particular bride bought this dress as a sample. The dress didn’t quite fit her bust and was slightly too long. Fortunately the silk and lace that was removed from the bottom of the dress was enough to create the panel required to fill the deficit in the back.
